Sasha was just a wee little girl when she came into our group.
She had a lot of interested people, but one family knew that she belonged with them and their canine companion Daisy. So as she started to grow and blossom in foster care, their adoption application was being processed.
Once everything was in order she went to her new home!
And my, my, my she was so happy and growing up beautiful! Here she is now with her friend Daisy.
Aaah, this makes us all feel warm and fuzzy, inside and out!
We've got puppies and puppies are growing up. Almost a month ago our rescue took in some VERY young babies. Here's the story:
They were rescued at about 8 days old (May 8th) after being found abandoned in a box. No momma dog or people around. They were brought into the rescue where they are currently being bottle fed, but are starting to get weaned to eat the wet gruel.
Due to their size (chunky-monkeys), markings and coloring, they are thought to be German Shepherd Mix. However, with no Mama or Papa, we won't really know until they get a little bit older.
They started out in a box......
They were bottle fed and pottied, every 4 hours around the clock....
Their personalities started to show and they were given names and were weaned....
They each got their own webpage....http://www.gsdrescuectx.com/babe.html and they started to learn and love to play and explore.
They love their surrogate "mommy" too!
Stay tuned for more updates. These little cuties will be going into foster care and will be ready for adoption before we know it!
