Here is today's picture of your boy! It will soon be 8 years since we adopted him, putting him about 12. He has been so wonderful! I'm not sure I could have made it without him. He has been a tremendous companion!! My sweet Searle died in 2013, and me and Chief have had to muddle on without him and Chief sticks by me!!
He has been a very healthy animal. (Yes his shots and heart worm med. are up to date!) He blew his ACL this summer, repaired with surgery, and is healing well.
Dalton is doing fantastic. He is definitely loving his new home. He is still learning what toys are his and what furniture he can get on, but he is a quick learner. Dalton absolutely loves the kids and is very calm and patient with them. He actually fell asleep yesterday while Jack was giving him belly rubs. He readily took to our kennel. We just leave the door open and he goes in their on his own at night when he is ready for bed. He is trying to learn to fetch now too. He will occasionally return a squeaky tennis ball but I don't think he knows what a Frisbee is for yet. Thank you again for helping us find our forever furry friend.
Thought I'd send you an update on how Callie is doing. She is the best! We are all very much in love with this sweet girl. Her jumping (or not jumping) is getting much better. Still barks a lot in the car but we are working on that. Couldn't be happier with our rescue. Thank you for taking her in until she found her forever home.
